Floor Length Beautiful Annasul Y Dress - I fell in love with it before I had even tried it on! I found my perfect dress in an independent bridal shop in St Albans. I popped in one day just to have a look and saw this dress & it brought tears to my eyes! I couldn't wait to try it on.
The dress is made up of a silk lace column dress with layers of silk tulle from the waistband. We had a country wedding so I didn't want anything too structured the tulle really softened the shape & the lace is beautifully made - its a very romantic dress. The tulle hangs from the front & back revelling the lace column dress at the sides. The tulle skirt also have many godets making the skirt beautifully full & light. The detail on the bodice if amazing - hopefully you can see that from the photos.
The dress was made to order with a size 10 top with a size 14 hip measurement. In the run up to the wedding the dress was taken in further, I've included measurements below. I also reduced the length of the train too - but its still quite long as you can see from the photos. The inside fastenings are really easy with no lacing but instead 4 wide elastic pieces fasten together the bodice, final back fastening is a zip. The bodice has structured boning but did not feel constrictive or uncomfortable.
The dress can be easily made short & smaller at the hip without affecting the design/layout. Measurements (all circular measurements not flat) Waist: 66cm Top of dress at underarm: 74cm Hip at Widest point: 94cm Length from underarm: 130cm
