This wedding dress was given to me on the Big Island of Hawaii back in 2014. I was working as a Guest Service Agent at a resort in Waikoloa and I met a husband and wife from Florida that had just gotten married on a beautiful beach along the Kona coast. Day after day I would see them in passing through the lobby asking about their lovely vacation/honeymoon. On their departure day, I checked them out of their room and they were very grateful for my friendliness. I had spoke to the wife earlier in the week and in our conversation I told her that my fiancé and I were planning a Hawaiian Lei Ceremony. As a result the wife wanted me to have her wedding dress, because she did not know who else to give to and use. I was beyond grateful! I love this dress, because it made me feel gorgeous and radiant on our special day. I definitely felt like a princess! It was very flowing, light, and easy to walk in especially since we were walking from concrete to sand to grass.
This wedding dress has been used twice, taken in a couple of sizes, shortened to floor length for my 5 foot 1 inch stature, and dry cleaned.
