This dress is actually made up of three separate pieces - the Emely Sweet Pea Skirt, Sweetheart Bodice and Sweet Blossom Bodice - all from The Babushka Ballerina boutique in Sydney - making it extremely flexible to wear. I wore all three pieces for the church and dinner and later when dancing I took off the Sweet Blossom Bodice to give a different look. The Emely Sweet Pea Skirt is a soft and light full lace skirt (silk satin lining) which gives great shape (subtle fishtail silhouette) and has a small soft lace train. The silk waistband sits on the small of the waste to give a flattering and classic look. The Sweetheart Bodice is a plain ivory bodice which again gives a great shape. The Sweet Blossom Bodice is a light lace bodice which features a stunning key hole back and full cap sleeve - I wore this over The Sweetheart Bodice. The overall look is vintage, romantic and extremely flattering (as well as extremely comfortable to wear and easy to dance in!) The pieces vary in size (the skirt was a medium, the top was a small) but I had them all altered here in Dublin - all alteration services in Harolds cross - I am a size 8-10 on the high street. I also had bustles added so the small train can be gathered up for dancing.
