Absolutely beautiful, bohemian-style white wedding dress by Anna Schimmel.
A satin, strapless mini dress underneath a delicate, full-length, embellished and lace sheath. Off the shoulder, with fitted lace sleeves, scalloped edging and a lovely train. I met the seamstress who made the amazing lace sheath and she said it took her 70 hours..! It really is stunning and can still be viewed on Anna Schimmel's website but I understand she no longer makes this style.
I really loved this dress - it was so beautiful and light to wear and I felt very elegant..! It's gorgeous to look at and photographs wonderfully as well. My wedding was in summer but the dress would also be perfect for a winter wedding as well (could wear with a faux fur shrug or jacket?) I didn't need to wear a bra as the mini dress fits almost like a corset so I had plenty of support.
I've had the dress drycleaned at Regal Drycleaners in Newmarket and it looks brand new. Is in tip top, perfect condition!
Measurements:
I'm 164cm tall and wore 10cm heels.
The mini dress measures 665cm from top of bust to hem.
The lace sheath can be worn at varying lengths as can be pulled down a little but the actual length (at the front) is 1460cm.
