The Dress

An absolutely beautiful wedding dress that I loved wearing. From Suzanne Neville’s collection, worn for my summer wedding in July 2016.

A fabulous striking crepe dress with soft fishtail lines to give a slim and sleek silhouette. The cut, the fit and the still of this dress are simply incredible and the buttons running down the back are beautiful.

The look can be completed with a belt, veil and bolero.

The dress can be worn in three ways throughout the day and evening:

1. With an underskirt (not worn but included)
2. Without an underskirt creating a soft fishtail (as seen in my photos)
3. With a tucked fishtail creating a waterfall effect at the back of the dress for dancing in the evening

I am a 34B and did not need to wear a bra as the sweetheart neckline supported me beautifully.

The dress was professionally dry cleaned straight after the wedding. There are a few marks on the crepe at the very bottom of the dress which unfortunately couldn't be removed due to the delicate nature of the crepe and silk.

Purchased in 2016 for £2,395, the dress required no custom fitting or bespoke work other than length adjustment, and otherwise is exactly as originally delivered from Suzanne Neville.

I am 5”5 and normally wear a size 8-10. On my wedding day I wore 3” heels.

I know it will make another bride as happy as it made me, and I’d love for it to be admired again rather than sitting in its box for years to come.
