The Dress

An elegant and stylish bespoke Suzanne Neville wedding dress which was inspired by bringing together two of Suzanne Neville's designs; the "Constance" which is part of the Suzanne Neville Belle Epoque Collection 2018 and the "Raphael" which is part of the Portrait Lookbook 2017. I had the pleasure of working with Suzanne Neville to create this truly unique one off piece.

This beautiful dress is lightweight and easy to move in, in fact, when you walk it just floats with the most flattering column cut. Suzanne is known for creating amazing silhouettes, the integrated hidden corset in this dress gives a beautiful shape, and feels so secure when you are wearing it. The shape is further enhanced by a sweetheart neckline which is extremely flattering and the waist is highlighted by delightful pearl and crystal detailing at the waist . The dress has a key whole back with button detail, leading to a puddle train which can be bustled for the evening, and/or there is a wrist strap to lift the hem. The material is 100% Italian matt crepe silk, i wore the dress in September and was not too hot or cold on the day.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned (once) and comes packed in a bespoke hand-made quartz pearl lace lined box with a satin hanger and Suzanne Neville full length zip bag. The dress has been worn once and is in perfect condition apart from the minor light marks to the back of the train (shown in the photos) which we have been advised can be removed through further dry cleaning. Or alternatively, I am 5ft7in and on the day I wore 2in heels so if you are shorter than 5ft9in you could have the dress taken up and this would disappear.

As the dress was made to measure, there is no size label on the dress but having tried a number of Suzanne Neville dresses I was between a size 12 - 14 in the couture gowns.

On the high-street I am a size 10 (in outlets such as french connection / Oasis) to 12 (in Karen Millen); I have a small waist, bust size 30FF and 5'7" ; on my wedding day I wore 3.5" 9cm heels, I hope this detail gives you an idea of size. The dress has scope to be altered to suit a range of sizes.

I bought the dress in August 2017 from Suzanne Neville flagship boutique in Knightsbridge's for £3,650.00 and it is for sale at €760.00 The dress is currently located in Dublin, Ireland.
