MY STORY I saw this dress on the runway and knew that it was love at first site. I found out that Anne Barge was having a trunk show at Bella Bianca Bridal in Chicago and confirmed that "Sidney" would be there. I tried on only "Sidney" and fell in love. I was married this July 29th on a hot summer day, and I have never felt so comfortable, beautiful or unique. I have received endless compliments from family, friends, and strangers about my wedding dress, telling me that they have never seen any dress like it. I hope that someone else will have an oppotunity to wear her and feel just as special as I did on my wedding day! I tried to include pictures from different angles, positions and lighting (indoor and outdoor) to depict the lay and flow of the gown. My bridesmaids wore Dessy and Jenny Yoo dresses in "blush," which complemented the gown well. The last picture shows what it looks like bustled. CUSTOMIZATIONS: Added an additional 12 inches on to the back of the train, changing it from chapel to cathedral length train. Ordered without the ribbon and lace details on the bottom (as seen on model) to make me look taller. Nude cups are sewn into front so that lace is not see-through. You couldn't see cups in dress while dress was on (see pictures).
ALTERATIONS: I had a size 6 made so that I could make alterations. When I wore the dress on my wedding day, I was between a 2 and a 4 (probably more like a 2). Waist taken in to fit size 26 waist. Hemmed from the bottom to adjust to my height (I am 5' 5'' and wore 3'' heels). One of the two layers of tulle under the skirt taken out to make the dress a little less voluminous on my small frame, still has volume as you can see in pictures, but very light to move around in. Bustle added to make it easier to dance in at reception.
