I love this dress. It has the perfect VINTAGE and TIMELESS look while also being slightly MODERN. It was also extremely comfortable to wear; the material is super forgiving - it won't wrinkle and has good lining so you will always have a flattering silhouette! I'm only giving it up because I know someone out there will make great memories with it and make much better use of it than having it sit in my closet.
I made minimal alterations.
-slightly took in the sheer back to make it tighter against my back
-opened the area around the knees so I could wear it more loosely
-shortened it (I'm 5'5" and wore just 1.5" flats)
-placed a small liner in the bust so that I could comfortably go bra-less
-placed 6 small loops to make a simple bustle
